Research Interests

Dr. Phillips' primary research interests lie in the area of adolescent development and well-being. Other current research interests include, but are not limited to:

-Religion and well-being
-The role of non-cognitive factors in success
-Farm families and youth
-Media violence and aggression
-Extracurricular activities available to youth in poverty areas
-Family-of-origin and parental influences on young adult romantic relationships (adult attachment)
